Attack of the zombies

Canadian researchers have developed a mathematical model for an attack by a bunch of human brain-eating zombies. They found that the only way humans could stave off such relentless attacks by walking killer corpses would be to stage aggressive and repeated counterattacks.

Mathematical modelling is used in many areas of science research, applying math to determine an outcome of a specific event. In this instance, zombies represent the behaviour of a virus during the outbreak of an infectious disease.
